With this Porsche 597 hunting car, a real Porsche rarity was our guest in Oerlinghausen.
This hunting car was built in 1955 at the Porsche factory in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen as one of only 19 prototypes. A new customer from abroad bought the car sight unseen and solely based on our detailed description.
We transported him by air freight to another part of the world. We were very curious to see whether our new customer liked the car as much as we all here in Oerlinghausen did.
Shortly after arriving in its new home, we received an email from the new owner with the words: “The vehicle exceeded expectations!” This made us very happy and confirmed us in our work.
