Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupé
In designing the new SLS AMG Coupé, Mercedes-Benz orientated 2010 on the legendary “300 SL Gullwing” from the 1950s.
This is the first vehicle to be developed independently by AMG. Each engine is assembled by hand by a single worker at the AMG plant in Affalterbach and documented with a corresponding plaque bearing his engraved signature. In Formula 1, the SLS AMG was often used as a safety car.
