In 2019 the scene celebrated 100 years of Bentley Motors. The Pebble Beach Concours announced five Bentley classes especially for this occasion. We were delighted to be invited to take part with our Speed Six Gurney Nutting Coupé and made the long journey to California to exhibit our car. It was once again a wonderful event. Many of the world’s best vintage Bentleys were represented, a sensational and extraordinary gathering.
This rare Gurney Nutting Coupé was built for Mick Young, a wealthy farmer from Australia. He traveled to England to personally collect his Bentley from the Cricklewood factory. On this occasion, the black and white photo shown above was taken shortly before the car was shipped to the distant continent of Australia.
In autumn 2019 we found a new, very good home for this great car. Another world-class Bentley has passed through our hands.
